Snow is falling, all around (sung in ye old Christmas tune) ... well It's certainly cold in the UK today & snow is shutting down the country by the minute. I love love love snow, its so festive and pretty and so I can't wait to get out and play in it this weekend. Although having said that, I'm a bit worried about my drive to the west country tonight. As you may well have guessed, today's outfit post is not what I'm wearing today (today is big knits & jodhpurs and knee high boots), but in fact what I wore yesterday ... when things were a tad warmer. Jase bought me this jacket for Christmas and I  seriously love it, I wore it this week styled with an old Romwe dress from the summer, thick tights and my fabulous Anthropologie hat which I am becoming obsessed with (alongside Sherlock Holmes and good coffee). It's a really simple outfit, but the jacket and hat combo just add a little sophistication to it in my opinion.The little bag is a suede Steve Madden number which is just so cute and perfect for festival season - a really good pocket bag.

This outfit is a really easy to wear look, is really comfortable but actually looks quite dressy. I wore it to work but ditched the hat in the office ... that would have been a little OTT I feel. I managed to do a cheeky picture session before I left for work, and the hat actually helps cover my super sleepy eyes. haha.

This weekend is meant to be full of snow which could mean a lot of fun and playing in the snow is ahead for us, I love getting wrapped up and its a great excuse to get the fur out and fluffy hats. I'm expecting to see lots of snow themed blog posts over the weekend :)
