Blog Anniversary & £50 Giveaway x

Well what would you know, today, the 31st of October 2012 is my blog's 1 year anniversary. I actually cannot believe a whole year has passed since I started mediamarmalade ... and most of all I'm actually super impressed that it wasn't just a fad. In fact, it's been anything but a fad, my dear old blog is now a fundamental part of my life and I absolutely couldn't be without it.

I didn't really realise how much passion and obsession my blog would ignite in me when I started, It was a little something I thought i'd try out, inspired by my friends, and it very much worked out. What I thought could be a little hobby every now and then has turned into a full time project, in which I completely threw myself into and still can't really believe what I've achieved.

Perhaps the most shocking of all is that I have officially blogged every single day for a full 365 days ... yes every single day. And a crazy 380 posts ... I got a bit carried away in my first 2 days of blogging. As you may be able to tell, I love this blogging malarkey, and even with my full time career in advertising (comms planing & media strategy) as an Account Director, I come home and sit in bed late at night ready to type away all my latest thoughts, finds, outfits, beauty loves, life updates & god knows what else that has graced the pages of this wee little web space.

I really have you readers to thank though, as if it hadn't been for the support, the daily comments, the new followers & the interest in what i'm talking about, no doubt I may have got a tad bored of writing to myself each day. Every follower I get I jump a little jump of joy, every comment I get still makes me pleasantly surprised that people actually read what I write & every bit of support I've had & words of encouragement have really kept me inspired to keep writing mediamarmalade.
