Style Challenge: Pleats

Todays post is a little more special than normal, because the look I'm sharing with you all is also part of a competition. Ohhh exciting I hear you cry. I was recently approached by Style Compare to take part in their weekly blogger style challenges: they task you with a trend, you pick an item from their site, and the most popular styling wins. Simples.

Our task was pleats. I got to select an item from the vast range of brands featured on the style compare site, and then was left to style it as I pleased. I chose this cute Mango dress as my pleated item of choice, I loved the block pastel colour tones and thought it'd look ace for both summer and winter styling. 

I teamed it with simple tan accessories to give it a little British country girl feel ... well my interpretation of it anyway. My tan belt, Mulberry shoulder bag and Deina boots were accessories of choice, and I feel they really let the dress do the talking.
